Story of Yume

“Yume” in Japanese means “Dream”. We placed a Chinese character, 夢 (“Dream” in Chinese), on the centre of the logo and the fishes swim upstream by the “Dream”. Yume’s logo symbolises that Stanley is making his dream come true; he hopes that all Coastie will love the elegant taste and flavour of Japanese Cuisine.

Stanley Song

Stanley Song graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Australia in 2009 with French haute cuisine. In 2008, He met his first Japanese cuisine master, Taka San, who ignited his passion for Japanese cuisine. Through his dedication to learning and professional experiences, Stanley has honed his cooking skills and knowledge and even created his own recipes. He firmly believes that the best way to show gratitude to his customers is by providing them with fresh ingredients and superior cooking skills. To that end, Stanley personally purchases and prepares all the ingredients and sauces in his dishes.
